The breakfast was a letdown. I arrived at 9 am to find no bread available. i asked a staff member for assistance, but it took about 20 minutes for more to appear. it was annoying to have to boil or fry eggs myself. small frying pan, poor breakfast

The staff were pleasant. (always a plus)

The room's layout felt impractical. Steep stairs led to the mezzanine bedroom, and the ceiling was very low up there. Ordering food in the food court also proved difficult. I found it rather annoying.

A Modern and Enjoyable Stay

The food court downstairs offered various tasty options, so I didn't need to go far for a meal. The bar had local JOST beer on tap, a treat. Our room was clean, and the bed offered great comfort after long days (a king size, I think!).

The deposit was larger than expected, and the refund process was a bit slow. It took a few days for it to be returned, longer than usual.

Gambetta station is a short five-minute walk from the hotel. Also supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The area seemed safe enough at night when I walked around. It's not too far from the main city attractions.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of food, including good coffee. Several different food outlets are available at lunchtime and in the evening. The hotel also offers lovely wines at the bar (I especially liked the local ones!).

Our room included crisp, clean beddings and a king-size bed. A full-length mirror was available, useful for checking outfits. There was also a TV at the foot of the bed, though I didn't use it.
